Hi my 2015 Sportage has no audio warning as I exit the car leaving lights on, is this normal? All other cars I’ve own make an audio warning if you do this .

We have the previous model (2008) and it does not have a lights left on alarm, but all lights go 'off' with ign to 'off',we do have a key left in alarm.
Just checked in our owners manual and it does not mention a lights alarm.
Hi 68257
Indeed - do you have access to an owners manual ?
I would not have thought that the headlights should stay on with ign off.
Most cars I have owned in the last 40 odd years have had a lights on alarm (usually triggered by door switch but sometimes the door lock unit).
Definitely worth a trawl through owners manual.
Not a Sportage but my new (to me) 2009 Sedona switches head lights off when ignition off but leaves sidelamps on.
No warning bong.
Conversely, my old Sedona (2002) switched off all lights and still bonged in protest at the light switch being on if I opened the door.
Got to ask, does your Sportage have automatic lights as a setting? that could explain the silence.. they would only expect you to use the normal 'on' settings for things like testing and have the 'auto' function as the normal setting.
