My Venga 2 1.4 diesel eco doesn't

Many modern cars have idiot lights instead of gauges, my BMW has no gauge. Theory is you are more likely to spot a warning light come on rather than see a gauge slowly rising into the red zone. With modern cooling systems fitted with electric fans controlled by the ECU the temp gauge rarely moves from normal anyway thus it is of little use.
Panic not, the warning lamp is fine.

Thanks for reply it was just that my CEED has one fitted so I am thinking if it is need for the CEED why not the VENGA
