Stonic major electric fault

My 20 plate Stonic is currently sitting at a dealership awaiting an investigation into a major electrical fault. The fault triggered all the warning lights which then put my power steering into fail safe mode, affected the rev counter and speedometer (I have neither). This occurred the last week of January when we had the snow and ice snap. I was driving all week on snow and ice and by the Friday night, this problem occurred. The dealer is not able to spend the time investigating what is causing the faults at the moment (it's been with them since 1 February). Service say it's likely a warranty issue, but until that's confirmed Kia won't help with my out of pocket costs (having to hire a car to get about). I'm currently considering moving the car to a different dealer at the beginning of March if there's no progress with the current dealer, but just looking to see if anyone has experienced this or a similar problem, or know what the problem may be?

Welcome to the forum.
I am sorry to hear your tale of woe, it is always disappointing when things don't get sorted quickly, but recent years it has become more common with many manufacturers, not just cars. You may have a fight get any costs back from Kia, the Warranty Terms & Exclusions specifically states:-

It might be better to try and get the dealer to cough up, but I don't hold a lot of hope there either.
