Range Not as Promoted - Up to 375 miles

Our EV3 GT Line S long range with heat pump was purchased to complete round trips of circa 300 miles into an EV charger desert. This was explained to the showroom pre purchase.
We have had an electric car for 6 years so understand how to maximise range.

Within 3 days we were in contact with the showroom to report our disappointment and surprise at the fact it only charged up to a 314 mile range on first charge. Subsequently charging dropped to 288 miles for an advertised range of up to 375 miles. Driving economically with heating off the mileage achieved was circa 260, no where near the aspirational range.
Charging is via an Ohme epod.
Unfortunately when purchasing you do not get a chance to test the range but we assumed 300-320 would be realistic.
This was based on BMW and Volvo, the other 2 electric car makes I have owned where you get the range you expect.

I would welcome hearing what range other owners have on their screen when the battery is charged to 100% both now and in the summer months.
Has anyone raised range issues with Advertising Standards, Kia or any other body?
Thanks for your help.

i-pedal could be part of the issue, as you get no coasting using that. It's either using power, or regen. Which then requires more power to get back up to speed.
Can be same with using paddles.
I just leave paddles alone on same regen setting & then use the brakes as required. As using brakes still prioritises regen, before using physical brakes.

I get coasting with mine in i-pedal !!
The right paddle when in i-pedal reduces the severity just like in normal regen mode and the left paddle takes it up through the levels of retardation. The only difference seems to be is that i-pedal will bring you to a complete stop.

A bit off topic from the start of the thread but.

I have read that the percentage of men with an enlarged prostate is very close to their age. Fortunately this does not directly apply to prostate cancer, the risk of which is also increases with age but is fairly independent of prostate enlargement, It does however roughly correspond with the likely need for comfort breaks.

Women have their own issue that can also increase the desire for more frequent comfort breaks.

Good to see the menfolk on here taking their health and prostate seriously. The OH has had major problems with urgency for years, but refused to visit the GP. After a very near miss of having an "accident" on holiday, I said enough was enough and he actually agreed. We'd had to visit 3 cafe bars within 500m because he was bursting after a small beer.

Saw his GP for the first time in 12 years and got checked. He has a slightly enlarged prostate and his PSA was under the threshhold for concern. Got meds to relax the prostate and can now manage 2 hours at night rather than every hour and things are much better during the day. Going back today about a dodgy knee and is going to ask if there's anything slightly stronger.
