Radio problems

Hi all, I'm a new member to the club. I bought a Kia Cee'd estate 2014 plate last year (only had 36,000 miles on the clock) and initially all worked fine. But the rear reversing camera packed up earlier this year and now I'm having big problems with radio signal. Initially that also was fine at my home address and beyond but now I can only get a signal when I'm near a big town about 8 miles from where I live. I've tried replacing the screw on roof aerial but that had no effect. I rang 2 auto electricians who just sucked their teeth and said they couldn't offer any help. It's driving me mad just hearing static, I want to listen to my radio! I can live without the rear camera if need be, but don't like things not working. Any ideas whether an actual Kia garage could fix this and at what cost (or dare I not ask!) I do have the Region thing set to auto by the way.
The car did come with 6 months warranty which had expired before the problem showed up unfortunately. :(

Welcome to the forum. Assuming the rest of the media system works okay, I would suggest it is either an issue with the aerial/wiring or the radio on the media system is failing. You would be better finding a local specialist car media system repairer to diagnose.
