Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked before but searching for ages & can't find an answer. I bought a second hand Cee'd GT Line. I also recently acquired a dog. Is there any way to lock the car without setting the alarm? I do not have a physical key to start or lock the car as it has stop/start button & the car locked/unlocked either by using the remote fob or the button on the door when in range of the fob. Any guidance much appreciated.

I think you disable the alarm with the button on the roof lining..might be the one that looks like wifi

Use for ferry and dogs. Kids in car..
Once locked kids or anyone can't open any of the doors from inside!!

Hi. Pretty sure that my Ceed GT Line doesn’t have any motion sensors inside the car.
There definitely isn’t a button on the roof lining for them, there is only the interior light switches.
Quick look through the manual, the alarm will only activate on forced entry, ie doors etc opened without the key/fob.
So the dog won’t activate the alarm if left in the car when locked. You could always have a trial run while sat on the drive.
