I've previously assumed it's European trucks. But I don't set my cruise control to take account of the speed limit.

 

While using the cruise control feature in the past month I have had to manually reduce the speed now several times to the legal limit because the car has automatically increased the speed to 80mph! The UK speed limit is 70mph on roads so 80mph should not even be a choice for the car to automatically adjust to.
It seems to have confussed 60 mph and 50 mph signs for 80 mph with variable electronic speed signs mostly, but also some static signs.

Car is designed to be driven in other countries, who have higher limits.
