Today morning Kia connect app shows this warning.
I bought this car less than a month(Kia assured 1.5 years old, PHEV).
I regularly drive motorway 40+ miles in HEV mode. Today morning after driven 20+ miles parked and got this. Car is driving fine. My local dealer(he services my other Kia and don't have this car for sale when I bought this)) happy to look at it but if no problems found, he will charge diagnostic fee of ÂŁ180!. The Kia dealer I bought of course happy to look at it but they are 60 miles from home.
Have anyone got this issue? Should I worry about it.
Thanks for any advise.

It’s not clear what the warning is but is it possible that the 12v battery needs a recharge? I’m assuming your model has this facility accessed via a switch on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.

I wouldn't worry too much about the orange warning, it comes up occasionally when the battery is needing a boost. For example. It can happen if you have had all the doors open cleaning the car, or not plugged it in for a while. Do you plug it in at all or just use it as a HEV?

The PHEV charges the 12v at the same time the main battery is charged when plugged in. It can also top up in HEV mode when using regen. The PHEV does not have a 12v charge button like the HEV as it shouldn't need it.

I have an e-Niro. The app shows 12v warning constantly. Engineer at Dealer says ignore.
