Great car until it stops working!

Hi - I see from other threads that there have been issues with EV6s going into limp mode, well this is happening to my EV9! It first happened when travelling on a dual carriage way with my family in the car which was scary and dangerous. It then happened a further three or four times on the same c. 80 mile journey. After I stopped and turned the car off for c. 10 mins I managed to get home. KIA took the car in but could not replicate the fault even after driving it for 400 miles over three weeks and at some points at 87mph, which I'm obviously not happy with. They then tried to blame me by saying it must have been active cruise control. Don't go to Citygate Watford!

It has since happened again and this time I have video evidence that there were no driving assist or cruise control set. It's now proving impossible to get KIA to look at it until a service slot is available in nearly a month's time!!

Has anyone else had this issue and managed to resolve it?

Not nice, but it is the dealer that is the hold up for slots. As dealers are franchises. Kia have no power to force a car in early.
Might be worth trying another local Kia dealer if you have any.

If it goes into limp mode there should be a code stored to check.

Thanks but I've been pushing through the central KIA booking (via a lease company) and they still can't get anyone to look at it sooner. The RAC have visited it twice and found no code. I gave the first dealer to review it the date and times of when it happened and they couldn't find a code either.

It's the franchise structure that is the problem here as well as it's through a lease company. I need to go direct to KIA... I feel a note to Paul Philpott coming on...
