Hi all. My brother in law has just changed from a Sportage GTLS HEV to a facelift Sorento 4 diesel. The Sportage was struggling towing a large caravan whereas the Sorento diesel probably won’t notice it. I’m blown away by the trim and the incredible amount of tech. His is the facelift model, e.g. vertical headlights, revised taillights. etc but I was surprised to see it has the Standard Gen5W navigation. I’ve just been looking on the Kia website and there’s a Sorento 4 (2025) with what is clearly the ccNC system. Does anyone know when it swapped over?
I currently drive a Sportage GTLS PHEV but I’m now really interested in a Sorento 4 even though it would be mostly me driving it! I wouldn’t want the diesel motor but is the HEV gutless in this bigger car than mine given it’s the same 1.6 petrol turbo?
cheers
Peter
