I'll keep an eye out. Is there anything to use that will prevent this?

I always, no matter what car I've had try to get in and out without rubbing on the bolsters, prevention is better than cure n' all that.

Hopefully latest cars have a better grade of imitation leather .

We have a 21 reg and our is fine at the moment.....although I'm pretty careful getting in and our avoiding wear and tear.

I use Turtle Wax inside job on our seats. It's very good and suppose to offer protection for the seats. No cracking so far, 20,000 miles in.
