Has anyone else had any issues with the faux leather cracking/splitting on the driver seat? I've had the car for 18 months(GTLS) and just noticed on the right hand side of the bottom seat is quite badly cracked...not sure if this is covered by warranty........

Off topic I know, so forgive the diversion, but... 2.8 Capri, lovely motor, bags of character. Flawed, yes, but that is a very human flaw, isn't it ? And character is a term we use for humans, not devices.
A lad I worked with in the 90s had a Brooklands, and one fine day he let me - a still wet behind the ears young twenties hothead who thought he was the next Nigel Mansell - drive it back from site. I don't think there was a single junction that I didn't leave sideways! My clutch control and appreciation of appropriate speed has improved a lot since then.
