Hi all. Is there any special procedure for disconnecting the battery when removing something electrical? I know with Citroens the Body Systems Interface has to be shut down and restarted in a special way.

OK so it's probably best to disconnect the battery before doing that. Have you looked in the manual? - the manual for mine lists the things which need to be reset after battery disconnection - it's in the Maintenance section at the back.
I managed to get a Haynes for the Sorento. Although it doesn't seem to distinguish between diesel and petrol engines, nor does it mention the two types of transfer box control.
