I thought I’d just put a note here in case anyone has problems moving their Digital Key to a new (specifically) iPhone.
Mine was working fine on the old iPhone but it didn’t transfer over when I migrated everything to the new device. Tried to set up a new Key using the Kia app but after several failed attempts, I tried it via Kia Connect and it worked first time!
Bottomline: if a new Digital Key fails to be installed, try Kia Connect.
