I've had my GT Line S for 2 weeks and just noticed the boot badge on the right side just says HEV.
Previous GT Lines had a GT Line badge.
Has mine been mis-badged?

Thought so. I found them yesterday on Aliexpress. Available in two sizes and a few different finishes, including a brushed finish which I think matches the Kia badging well.
Looked at some Porsche OEM ones and they were around £70. Aliexpress was substantially less. You can guess which one I opted for.

I hadn’t realised that the badging attached to the rear end of a car was important. Now that I have been made aware, I’m on the lookout for a chrome-finished ‘Powered by Ferrari’ appendage.

That will really increase my standing among other motorists in the know, just as much as the addition of ‘TIT’ would do!😆

SWMBO used to delight in telling folk that her Skoda Fabia had a Porsche engine under the bonnet - anyone who didn’t believe her was invited to look under the bonnet where the valve cover was emblazoned with ‘Porsche’. Of course, it wasn’t a Porsche engine; to be fair, some VAG engineers, maybe from the Porsche factory (by then a VAG acquisition) might have suggested a slight modification to the camshaft and valves, but there was never a Porsche engine under the bonnet of any Skoda.

Think you are confusing the Skoda with the original Seat Ibiza (from the mid 80's before VAG bought Seat). That was powered by an engine labelled "System Porsche" on the cam cover but it had never seen the Porsche factory or a Porsche engineer.

Its called marketing.

The Fabia was never graced with such nonsense at the factory, must have been a muppet who stuck the badge on after.
