23 Reg Niro EV - Kia connect not working

I just had a brand new Niro EV delivered today and i cant get it to connect to Kia Connect it just says "The VIN is invalid or the vehicle is not equipped with kia connect" using the QR code or the VIN number...ive reset the head unit and done a factory reset to no avail anyone had this and managed to fix it?

Do you have a Niro EV '3' or '4' spec car as only they have the required modem for remote communication and hence are supported by Kia Connect?

Are you using the Infotainment screen and using the QR Code displayed to complete the registration of Kia Connect, or are you manually typing the VIN? It's much easier to just use the QR Code to save typos.

Have you read and watched the notes from Kia on how to do this from this link here?

When I got my car, I think I had already registered my account for Kia Connect on the Kia website, so it was just the installation of the App on my phone and then going through the setup wizard on the Infotainment screen to link my car to my profile. I just pointed the phone at the QR Code to scan, and it all went through seamlessly.
