When I approach my locked EV3, it automatically opens. Well, it does sometimes. Often it doesn’t. I don’t know or understand why it does or doesn’t. Anybody familiar with this phenomenon? What can I do about it?

Yes same here. I only use the fob,and the touch bar on the door handle but I find it very temperamental.The auto unlock when ive got the key fob in my pocket works about 75% of the time, but the touchbar works less than 50% of the time.
Lock and unlock always works ok when pressing the buttons on the fob.
I dont have the "key" set up on my phone because I am having problems with the blue tooth being unreliable.
