Hi All,

Just a bit of advice on which make of towbar you think is best for the sportage,i do plan on fitting it myself.

Plus is it okay to fit the basic electrics were you splice into the wires or the one where a harness is fitted in line with the car harness.

How about the best place to get it from?

Cheers,

Gazcaz.

I've the KIA standard fixed ball towbar which is made by Witter and works well and looks neat enough. I've fitted a Sto-stop aluminium plate.
On the front I have a Watling Engineering towbar which is also well made.

feed the wires up to the n/s rear lamp unit and ino the car via the gromet(make sure to seal the wires in the gromet once all is done. You can also get a positive feed from either the interior boot lamp or power scocket located in the N/S/R inner trim panel~(which needs to be removed to do a neat job) then all you need to do is run 1 x ire other to the o/s indicator and job done...
Good luck
