A neighbour told me tonight that the reverse lights are not coming on my Carens (2003 model). Brake, headlights and all others are OK.

Where are the bulbs for the reverse lights though? The manual mentions
1) Turn signal light
2) Stop and tail light
3) Backup light
4) Stop and tail light (if equipped)
5) Rear fog light (if equipped).

I checked bulbs on the passenger side - 2 in the boot and 2 at the back of the car. They looked OK so I'm dreading finding an electrical fault, after all the other problems I've had recently. Could a blown fuse be responsible and if so where would it be?

Realised what I thought was "backup" (spare) is actually "back-up" (reverse) so that's cleared up.
Where can I find the fuses though?

Under the dashboard, r/h side of the car, behind/under the steering column area.

If it's not the fuse or the bulbs it could be the switch which is located at the rear of the gearbox.

Thanks Supacabby. I've had a look at the fuse panel and there are 3 missing! That doesn't seem right at all.
