After putting up with a dribble into the lower boot (trunk) area around the spare wheel, I have finally tracked down the source. Just behind the tailgate hinge on both sides (where the gap between the body and glass sunroof run onto the rear of the car), there appears to be body seams. I noticed a slight crack in the sealant there, so cleaned and dried them thoroughly and re-sealed them with paintable seam sealer. After a few days of damp, wet weather, I have re-checked the area around the spare wheel and it is now dry! Hoorah!. The water must run down the inside of the body and exit in the lower boot area. No more steamy windows hopefully. I had noticed dribbles running down from the plastic lining to the left side of the area and they seem (seam!) to have stopped. I have touched up the seam sealer with paint, so the repair is less noticeable. Hope this may help others with similar problem/s!
