I found that the Tesla chargers at the Calais terminal for Le Shuttle had the rubber chocks preventing the EV3 being able to get close enough to the older chargers. This is a rarity though. I considered trying to drive onto/over the chock but had visions of sliding sideways into the charger.

Luckily other chargers nearby were fine.
