New Sw arrives in Jan and I'm in the process of getting all my music onto a USB Flash Drive to use in the car.



Question - how do you store the tracks on the drive? At the mo I have got Folder for Artist, Sub folder for a specific Album and then the individual tracks within.



Does that work or does it have to be a simple list of all the tracks?

What I do is plug in USB stick then open it up. Go to your music folder then drag each song from music folder and drop into USB stick page that you opened up. Easy peezy lemon sqeezy.

If you put it into folders you will have to select each album individually. If you just dump all tracks on to the FlashDisk it will play them all with no input from yourself.

folders and tracks within .... the folders can be selected from the head unit, tracks from the steering wheel, but it all works great .... i have a 4gb sandisk drive (with orange light funny enough) plugged into the usb socket ..... provided your mp3's are decently encoded you'll get good sound.
