or do you have to use an mp3 player to listen to mp3s

thanks

Hi Hibbo, you cetainly can just plug in a usb memory stick with MP3's on and it reads album folders and id tags - i have found that there is a limit as to how many tracks you can put on i bought a 16gb from ebay but i filled up 10gb worth but not all worked, could be the cheap chinese memory stick but it says in the manual about a max no of 345 tracks?

anyway i bought a 4gb one from good old tescos and that seems ok

hope that helps

yes i listen to my tunes like this too and if you want to create playlists or albums, drop the mp3 files into named folders on th memory stick and the folders can be chosen using the left/right buttons on the head unit, sadly not on the steering wheel, but you can still do all other operations from here.

I tried my old iPod in it today and to be honest im sticking to the memory stick option as i find the iPod integration ok but no good for lots and lots of music.
