Hi,
I purchased 2x Nexen N'Fera RU1 235/65 R17 104H (4x4 summer) for my 2014 Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDI AWD, however the mobile tyre fitter just refused to fit them as I currently have XL tyres fitted (235/65 R17 108v XL) and stated I should check with manufacturer if XL should be fitted as standard.

Can anyone advise if what I purchased is indeed fine to fit, I have fitted these exact same tyres back in 2017 to the car without any problems? I can't remember what Nexen tyres came on the car at purchase, whether XL or not.

Below is the tyre sticker taken from the drivers door of my Sorento, and XL is not specified.

Any ideas on how to get 100% confirmation on this, otherwise will have to wait to speak to my local Kia dealer tomorrow?

Just spoken to Kia Wessex Garage parts department and they looked up my car reg on the computer system and stated XL is not mandatory, down to personal preference.

I may be wrong but I am sure you can't mix tyres that have different ratings, in your case 108V and 104H, and I'm not sure you can mix normal with XL's. But I stand to be corrected. :)
