All depends on driving style and if car has regular oil changes. Switching car off after brisk driving can do the turbo bearings. Let it idle for a minute or so before switching off helps alot.
Then if you drive about like an old granny the turbo vanes coke up and turbo can stick or not spin up to the correct speed. If its coked up then it needs to be taken out and all the carbon build up on the vanes and housing cleaned off.
