Hi all,
I posted on here a while ago that the turbo on my 2006 sedona was screwed. The turbo is off and you can see the turbo fins are smashed to bits. The problem is now I cannot source a replacement turbo ANYWHERE! Everyone I talk to tell me that they don't do work on this turbo anymore.

The car is a 2.9 CRDI
The size customer number is 2S201 - 4x900
Serial number 06109 - 064A
Part number 5304 - 970 - 0063

The I.D Tag has been hand engraved but I'm pretty sure it is right.

Any help with this at all as my kia has been on axle stands since last August

I have E mailed and called about 15 companies. They all say they don't do any work on these turbos any more.Even Kia say they can't get them. They told me they are the last of the old shape sedona turbos that were put on the first new shape sedonas.

I'll check those links out later. There is also some confusion on whether my one is 142 bhp or 183 bhp.
Kia can't tell me and neither can the people I've asked about fixing it.........

I can'tbelieveKia (But its Kia so I'll believe any thing where they are concerned)can't tell you based on the chassis number which parts were fitted to your sedona. Speak to customer services they are hanging around here somewhere just waiting to help people(still trying to find someone they have but hay ho) they should be able to tell you if notwhat'sthe point of them.

Thanx to the guys that posted eBay links. I found loads on there myself but I don't know how to tell that they're the right one for my model. I've been told the replacement for my van is part number 53049880072 but I don't know where they got this info from so I don't want to buy one in case it's the wrong one.

Also, anyone heard of turbo express?

Put that number in google & it will bring up loads : Click on top one & it's the turbo-techniks site .
here:

http://en.turbolader.net/Turbocharger-Catalogue/8900-3000/28200-4X900/53049880072.aspx

that shows the kia part number ( which is what that number is ) link to the turbo manufacturers number.
