After running the car at high speed or harsh acceleration it is always advisable to let the car idle for a few minutes before switching the engine off. This is to let the turbo bearings cool down by the feed of oil to them and cooler exhaust gasses
Or it could be a faulty turbo you have. I wouldn't worry as its a 7 year warranty. I presume you have had it serviced when it was 12 months old.

thanks for the replies .
First of all there was no high speed driving involved .

It only had its 2nd service 2 weeks ago , so no one can say we dont look after it . the trouble is , its the hassle of not having a car , while its in for repair

yeah but are you not glad you bought a car with loads of warranty as opposed to one with only 12 months?
