Hi this may well have been covered in the past so forgive me. I have just bought a new Picanto 1 ( picked it up yesterday) and the Trip Computer doesn't see to recognise when I have put in a full tank of fuel. It starts counting down from 275 miles for the next refill? One of the attractions of this car was its stated 518 mile range on a tank of fuel?
Is there something other than the reset button that I should be pressing?

I know its a samll niggle but its my new toy (i've never had a trip computer before) and I would just like to operate it corerctly.

Any tis or hints would be gratefully received.

Welcome, and I hope you are enjoying your new Picanto.
When you fill up, toggle through the various readouts in the display till you get to Trip A. Press and hold till it resets to zero. Go to mpg and do the same. Now drive very smoothly and avoid braking uneccesarily, etc. for a few days/weeks till the fuel warning light comes on. You should have covered about 360 miles and the car should take about 26 litres, to give 62 mpg. To get more than this, you will need to apply more advanced eco-driving techniques.
