Hi all I’m a new member, just bought a 69 plate Sorento gt line s, and want to have a tow bar and electrics fitted. Was looking to have a detachable swan neck type any help would be grateful. Should I get a genuine Kia or any tow bar fitting company’s? I want to make sure the warranty stays in place

I think the OE manufacturer is westfalia.

I'd go for genuine electrics. If you're having the fridge/battery charging for a caravan quite a bit of the interior trim has to come out.

The dealer did a real bodge on mine. I'd get a decent towbar fitter to do it - but check with your dealer about warranty.

Just remembered - does your car have adblue? Don't know if that changes the towbar mounting points.

I got a detachable last week.
I got it from pfjones with dedicated electrics. If you get dedicated electrics then this doesn’t affect the warranty. I had an electric problem and it went into Kia 2 days ago and they mentioned the towbar and said it was a good job.
Pfjones - £635
Kia dealer - £980

It was an easy decision
