Good afternoon, I am near the time when I need the timing belt changed, I also need the brake disks and pads done too.
Spoke to the nearest Kia Service centre and they have quoted me £550 for the work, however spoke to my local Croxdale's Garage and they come out at £354 inc VAT and Labour.
My question is, what is the difference other than a stamp in the service book?

Regards

Rob.

Well Kia should use Kia parts but the indy garage may use after market parts and may be cheaper labour rate. For a selling point of view it always looks better if its had a full Kia service history.
