Hi All
Can someone advice me please. I have a I6 valve 2.5diesel 2004 model The handbook is a bit confusing I'm not fully sure if the diesel version has a timing belt or chain I suspect it's a chain because they make areferenceto the petrol version replacement mileage but noreferencefor the diesel engine.

Hi,
Do you mean a tensioner needs replaced even if mines a chain belt ? if so what mileage should this be done at? I've looked through my manual but can't see anything.
Cheers

I have a 56 plate and on new years eve I was advised the timing belt had snapped. Would the damage be worse if it's a chain? Thanks
