Hi I have just bought a 04 sedona 2.9 diesel. what sort of time is allowed in the book to change:
a) the belt

b) the belt & kit

I just need to know what sort of labour charges to expect.

Depending what mood the dealer is in you are looking at any where from £500 to £650 for the belt and tensioners etc fitted, although not sure if it was this forum or the other one someone in S Yorks got it done for around£ 250 at his local garage

griz616 Autodata list 2.75 hours to do cambelt and tensioner and guide rollers.
Idid mine on my drive in 3.5 hours i have done a lot worse than these for belt replacement.

There is a mount on top of the gearbox if you remove the bolt that runs through the mount it make's the job alot easier to do as the engine will move back in the bay to allow removal of the bottom cover and water pump pulley.
