Hi - I've just bought a 57 plate Sedona, is it normal to have a gap in time~ between pushing the throttle pedal down and the engine rev-ing. I'd appreciate any comments. Cheers Phil

hi
yup it does do that, get about 1-2 secs then massive power.

just had my ECU remapped and that helps with low down torque but theres still a delay but not as long.

Good to know I'm not alone
. I have had my 57 plate Sedonafor over 2 months nowand at first I really noticed the delay in responce from 1500 r.p.m. compared to my previous Vauxhall 2 litrediesel.Maybe I was being a bit delicate with the accelerator pedal at first, but now I have got used to the car I don't notice it the same. I'm not sure if a few long runs and always using Shell fuel have helped as well or if it's me just getting used to driving it differently.
Happy motoring,Frank.
