System has DAB/FM. Do not seem able to choose between the two. Reception drops out on the DAB channels constantly. Any ideas.

If anything like my Ceed if you go to list. It breaks it down to DAB and FM stations. Just set your FM ones as favs and unselect the DAB ones.

I also think there was a software update for dab cutting out. Mine used to do it alot, but since the update its better. Its more on stations that don't have an fm option, as mine will switch to fm if dab drops out and there is an fm varient of the station.... In my humble option I think dab is abit poor....

I don’t have any issues with DAB. Has been fine on the Sportage and was fine on the cee’d before it. Maybe it’s an area thing but in the town I’m in it’s fine driving around. Sometimes if weather is bad then it may drop sound for a second or 2 but then it’s back. Only times it’s been bad is driving out of the town and sometimes hit patches where there’s obviously no coverage for a brief amount of time but can’t say it’s ever been too bad from my own experience. Much prefer dab to usual FM. Many more stations and much better audio quality.

On my 69 plate, when you’ve done the scan for stations. It will show both dab and fm stations in the list.

I had a constant problem of DAB dropping on both National and Local stations which was identified as a fault on the shark fin aerial which was replaced under warranty. Problem solved and not had any issues since. Only DAB was affected, FM and AM stations were fine. Not necessarily what is causing your problem but worth getting the dealer to check it out.

I take it you tried pressing the actual radio button om the row of buttons, to cycle between AM, FM and DAB. However, on mine it only goes between FM/DAB and AM.
