Speed Limit Assist problem

Hi all,
Is anyone having throttle problems while using Speed Limit Assist.
Since having this car it's had this problem with SLA. I join a Dual carriageway,( A69 at Mowden Hall ) and when this is activated I find that as I pull out onto the main road the SLA switches me up to 70mph from the 60mph road I'm on at the junction. When it does this the throttle just goes flat with no acceleration unless I lift off and reapply. This is a frightening experience when you are pulling out into fast moving traffic from a standing start and you are expecting the EV acceleration that just doesn't happen. I thought this had been fixed until last week, as unknown to me it had been switched off at some point without me realising it. I switched it back on last week wondering what it did and my problem returned. The car has had all its updates. Any ideas??

I’ve had a couple of explainable pauses when using ACC but the speed limiter has been solid. It sounds like it might be reacting to cars, fencing, people around you and stopping you from having an accident.

I don't think its anything to do with the anti collision system. No warning alarms. The only ping is it changing the speed limit for me, as it does when you pass a new speed limit sign. I am entering a dual carriageway from a T junction with no approaching vehicles, just vehicles approaching from behind at a rapid speed and me with no throttle. I would also think that if it was a collision avoidance it would also pick that up when the system is disabled.
