Soundproofing looks good, quite surprised that KIA left that area sort of unfinished, did think about doing it myself.

Bummer about the wheel, It's all too easy to do on the Stinger , I did it on my old one and I was  as well. I may bite the bullet and buy some rim ringz or similar before it happens to mine

Sorry not 100% but on other cars there are two bolts just below the upright section of the seats. So once unclipped the lower move up slightly to access the bolts.

Under the bottom is mainly for fuel pump noise and a little bit of the drive shaft noise. You need to do a tap test to see if the metal sounds hollow.

For the sound deadening people, new video appeared shows really nicely the bits to do -

I think someone has gone a little OTT on weight saving on the video and interesting that using a Lexicon amp like the face lift ones.

Like the lining!

For minor wheel scuffs (luckily I've only done one.. or should I say the wife did it), I use some fine sandpaper to smooth it off, and it them becomes almost invisible. Sadly, most of my wheel damage is from the dealer changing the tyres though :(

If the dealer damages your wheels changing tyres, they should pay to have them properly repaired.

I learnt that the hard way. Two rear wheels damaged as they put new tyres on.

Then their mobile wheel guy (thankfully!) said he couldn鈥檛 guarantee to match the OEM finish. So I used my local specialist and Kia covered the 拢240 bill.

From now on all my tyre changes and puncture repairs will be done by the wheel refurb specialist.
