Hi Just joined. Have 03 Sorento with side steps - chrome with grey colour steps - part no 01919G178K. The plastic coating on thesteps has split and the metal gone rusty. Does anyone know if you can get replacement inserts and if so from where?

I dont know part numbers but i think i know the steps you are talking about.
The chrome bar with the chequer plate inserts in matt grey?? If so, clean up the plate with wire wool, mask up the chrome and give it a blast with a can of hammerite. If not, make your own inserts with a new piece of chequer plate and paint it. Remember to red oxide it first tho if you are using a ferrous steel.
