The clock in my 57 plate CRDi is showing the wrong time and, try as I may, I can't seem to get the display in the right mode to correct the bloody thing.

The manual says, when in any other mode than calendar, hold down the mode button (the one on the steering wheel I assume?) for more than 2 seconds and that enters you into clock set mode.

Not so.

Anyone any tips?

Cheers

Is there a Mode button on the centre console?

There isn't. There's a setup button which does nothing to the clock, a sound button plus the AM/FM/AUX buttons.

Baffled.

This is from an earlier post in this forum: -

This is the info from Ceed owners manual for clock setup.
Push MODE button for over 2 seconds the display enters clock setup mode.
The order of setup is Hour -> Minutes.
To go to next setting in setup mode the MODE button should be pressed for under 1 second.
The segments in setting should blink and the value can be changed by up or down button.
Hope this helps you

Agree - that's what the manual says but pushing the mode button for ten minutes on my car does nothing - the clock doesn't enter any other mode at all so I wonder if I am doing something wrong?

On my Ceed there is no mode button - found its the trip button that needs to be pressed for several seconds to enter clock setting mode.
