Anyone find the steering wheel has a very strong tendency to self centre, or could this be a tracking issue? thanks

where the steering dose not come back to dead centre and the car tends to drift
not in a straight line, this is a bit like a tracking issue ware the car pulls
to one side all the time. If I understand your problem correctly I would first
have the car tracking checked by taking back to the garage you brought the car
from, ask if you can watch them carry out the tracking test to satisfy that the
is or is not a tracking problem, I had a similar problem were the car would not
go in a straight line and I had to keep pressure on the steering all the time
to stop the car drifting of the road. This turned out to be a faulty steering
rack on the car.

I hope this helps.</a>

Thanks Andy, I swapped the wheels front to back and it fixed the problem, must have been the way the tyres wore or some imbalance in them. The steering would pull itself back to dead centre strongly.its fine now.
