Sedimentor --- fancy name for a sludge trap, for water and gunge that may be lurking in the fuel tank. Located on the drivers side of the engine bay, several black fuel lines into and away from the unit.
The handbook tells you to simply unscrew the knob on the underside of the housing and drain off the sediment butthere's no roomto get your hand to the underside. I had to remove the unit by unclipping the snap on fuel lines, unclip the sensor connector and drain the unit into a bucket.
When refitting, before starting the engine, prime the system againby using the sqeezy inline rubber primer bulb housed on the fuel line.
Murphwiz say these sensors can be over sensitive,if it proves so hereccomends disconnecting it. The handbook says it can be damage the engine if you drive with the light on so you'll have to use your own judgement as to the risk.
