I'm currently looking at my reverse camera on my recently purchased 2010 Sedona 3 which isn't working. I removed the camera and dismantled it fining lots of contamination inside so I assume it is dead(I cleaned it with electrical spray and tried it but no joy). I was wondering if anyone knows what colour the video wires are and is it possible to connect an aftermarket camera. There are only 4 wires - red, black yellow and white. I assume 2 are power and earth and 2 are the video but not sure which. Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, from fitting reversing camera to a motorhome.
Red live
Black earth
Yellow video
White audio

Video is shielded I seem to remember with a foil type paper.

The camera on my previous Sedona (2010) packed up apparently due to water ingress the most likely source being pressure washers used in roadside car washes. After my local Kia dealer quoted £514 to replace it I went to 3 parking camera specialists who all said an aftermarket unit couldn’t be installed in it’s place the only option being a new standalone system at between £175 & £230.
