The rev counter on my 02 Sedona 2.9 tdi fas stopped working for the second time in a fortnight. The first time it started working after the car stood for a couple of hours, but this time it still isn't working. This is the second Kia I have owned, the first being a 1.8 Carens, which caused no problems whatsoever. The Sedona however seems to be niggle after niggle. Is this something I am going to have to live with?
Any help with the rev counter problem would be much appreciated.

Regards

Keith

this must be a bad connection, have a look under dash above drivers feet, loads of connectors, there are three or four in a bracket, check these out. There is a sensor on the gearbox next to the shift cable (gear selector/shift cables) check connection and operation.
