Has anyone posted how to do this? I would like to replace stock with a Burner/Facelift style one if its easy to do without having to take the whole front end off!

Thanks...........

i believe you have to remove the whole front bumper to swap the grilles..... but if you wait a couple of weeks - i am having produced a clip on trim ring that makes the standard grille look very much like a burner grille and it takes 30 seconds to fit. PM me for photos if you wish.

Sorry Tempest..........I jumped the gun & bought the part from Kia Northampton. For the £56 they quoted me, I told them I wanted to have a look at it first. I couldnt believe the price!
But here it is:

It came with fitting instructions which suggested removing the clips & bolts from the area around the grille to allow access..........perhaps if you have hands like an octapus, but I couldnt manage it. I went ahead & took the whole bumper off. Not difficult. Once I had the bumper on the ground, swapping the grill took a few minutes.

I cheated on that pic cos I couldnt take a picture from under the car..........

Anyway, after removing all the clips, the bumper is still held in place
below the lights. Pulling & flexing the bumper away from these
lights will release these clips:

Once the bumper is on the ground, its easy to access the self tappers holding the grill in place. There are also some lugs that need to be depressed to pull the grill off:

Bumper replaces by slotting in under the lights first, then replaceing all the clips & bolts:

Finished project...............total time.....bout an hour. Looks much
better than old grille. Fills the recess & gives 3D effect!
