...when I opened up the casing a thin metal pressing pinged out.
put the batteries inbut can't see for the life of me where the pressing should sit, and haven't got a manual for it yet.it's about an inch long,and arched.

anybody help please?

it's a 1999 diesel if that helps.

yeah, it's got to be I think, just can't figure out where it should go as it's loose and fell out before I saw where it went, and I can't for the life of me figure out where it shoud go

Take it to your Kia dealer he will know where it should go. I wouldn't think they would charge you for the advice.

yeah, will have to. it's like a chinese puzzle!


need a handbook too, lots of things i need to know like tyre pressures and what the button does on the driver's door by the window switches... lol

went to the local dealer - little metal bit should be soldered in, so I need a new one - £78.93 in vat




take care when replacing your batteries!
