Weve recently bought a 2017 Rio which came with a tyre inflation kit. I’ve now installed a space saver spare. But when I came to test the jack and remove a wheel I couldn’t find anything to remove the hexagonal “chrome” cover over the locking nut. There wasn’t anything in the “ goo” kit. The Kia dealer called up a parts drawing which didn’t show any removal tool. I’ve bought a Peugeot from the same dealer one but no success. I’ve also bought one from eBay that was supposed to suit Kia Rio but again all nut covers remained firmly in place. This one was a u shaped spring steel which had two inward pointing parts that should engage with the protruding lugs on the locking wheel nut cover. It did engage but the covers would not move.

could anyone tell me what the Kia Rio removal tool looks like?
