As the title says it, I am looking for a good quality, full cover against elements of the weather and birds, that is size fitting for my XCeed MY22. Anyone with a good experience?

A fair number of caravan and motorhome owners use covers, and Specialised Covers and Protec Covers are two firms that are particularly popular. Specialised do car covers.

You can spend very good money on all weather breathable covers. Unfortunately they do degrade all the same. The single enemy to these is cats (or other clawed animals) wanting to sit on the comfy and warm surface and scratching through them.

Personally, I believe a good quality car-prep detail is a better investment.

Not heard of many good experiences but plenty of bad ones unless you are covering the car for long term storage and in an indoor environment.
Main issues with covers are that the wind will cause more damage to the paintwork as the cover itself will rustle and slowly rub against the bodywork.
Also you have to take into account of any accidental scuffs from constantly removing and putting the cover on and off.
As posted earlier in the thread, there's also the risk of animals, cats, birds, mice and others seeking shelter on or under it.
We have in this last week had to have our TV aerial relocated and had the bird spikes put on it as the cars were getting covered in bird droppings.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Bird droppings, cats and martens are indeed the most frequent impostors.
I agree a high quality car prep detail is quite good, although about ten times the price of the most expensive car cover.

I wouldn't agree. I've paid hundreds for fitted full weather protective covers in the past. If you want a good cover that is better than the cheap ones, they are spendy.

A new delivery detail at a local, reputable detailing company starts from 拢180. Food for thought.
