I've was told at my last service that my rear discs on my 2016 1.7 Diesel Carens were getting close to thier limit but when I had my summer tyres put back on recently it was suggested they they had loads of life left in them.
I took a look at them myself and they don't have much of a lip, more a slightly crusty edge. I checked with a micrometer and they are dead on 10mm.
Does anyone know what the minimum thickness is and what they are when new. I'm going to change them myself but just don't want to if it's not really necessary.
Thanks
