can anyone tell me if you need a radio code for a 2013 1.4 rio 3
Welcome to the forum, 'trips1'.

While I'm unaware of the specifics relating to a 2013 Rio, many modern cars do not require a code for the radio. In that regard, I shall presume that 'xroads' in post #2 is au fait with your model and defer to his greater knowledge.

One of these maintains a power supply to the vehicle when the battery is removed, saving many features which can be lost though not trip readings or average fuel consumption for some reason. Some clock, radio, mirror and seat settings, for example can be lost on some cars, according to complainants, although I have never had a problem on my own cars.
