If you swipe down on the screen Down, you will see the option for utility mode.
The first thing I did was switch off the climate control, turn off the radio if it’s on, select utility mode, then dim screen and lastly switch screen off.
Lock the car using the KIA app.
This is what I did & it works fine. The car will be locked, but the mirrors are out??
My one has been downloading for days, but this could be the Vodafone signal in my area.
Plus my app now keeps logging out,

Thanks. That's interesting. May give it a try if after a few weeks mine fails to complete the download.

This is exactly what I did and mine also took a couple of days. However, I don't have any problems with the app.

So you left your car in utility mode for two days? How much did the battery go down?

As far as I can remember, it was 1%. There was nothing on and running, just the download. Obviously the car's system was active, but nothing else.

Tnx may well try it overnight. Reasonable sim signal in the car, even if it downloads halfway, that should speed things up.
