Hi,So today i collected my 2013 pro cee'd 1.6 se. Great to drive, lots of gizmo's and i just moved from a renault megane 3 ..

Ok after a long journey home from the dealer i tried the radio out.. but unfortunately i can only get 1 radio station, whereas my Renault received lots or radio stations in the same location. i have searched and searched but nothing really helps. is this something that is common in this type of car? or is there a fix?..

Its driving me batty as we aint far away from the transmitter and i dont like stuff not working as it should do.

As i have said everything is fine apart from the apparent problem of not being able to receive fm radio stations

thanks in advance Entra

Hi Entra, and welcome to the forums. Sounds a bit odd, to say the least, as there are loads of stations. If a long way back to the dealer (always a problem when buying form a distance), I would suggest a local car radio specialist has a look. If it needs replacing, a phone call to the dealer would be next step.

If you've bought the car from a distant dealership you will need to do an autosearch for radio stations. Look in the car's handbook for the procedure for doing this.

I know this sounds like a no brainer but try checking the aeriel. I had a the same kind of thing with my gt.i bought a shorter aeriel for mine and the only stations i got were radio 1 and a local station a mile down the road.bought another aeriel and all was fine.the standard aeriel has a conductor wire running around the mast.aeriel needs to be screwed in proper tight. As i said obvious i know but it could save you a few quid.
